Biography

ALAN MAGLIO (Milan, 1979) is a lens based artist who investigates the themes of memory and the uncanny. He develops his research through photography, collage and cinema. He often experiments different types of media including archived materials and vernacular images. He is the author of the movies “Milano Centrale – Stories from the Train Station” (2007) and “Asmarina” (2015) and the book “Ultima Edizione – Storie Nere dagli archivi de La Notte” (2019)His work has been shown in exhibitions and festivals in Italy and abroad.
